This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the refund, cancellation, payment reversal, and service termination terms applicable to services purchased from NeuroHoster, operated by ESE Media Group / RISXE (“NeuroHoster,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing or using any NeuroHoster service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
1. No-Refund Policy
All payments made to NeuroHoster are generally non-refundable.
Once a payment has been successfully completed for a NeuroHoster service, the payment is considered final and will generally not be refunded, either fully or partially.
This applies to:
- Web hosting plans
- Cloud hosting
- WordPress hosting
- Managed hosting
- Website hosting
- Website development
- Application development
- Maintenance services
- Setup fees
- Migration services
- Customization services
- Add-on services
- Domain-related services
- Renewal payments
- Subscription payments
- Promotional purchases
- Discounted purchases
- Upgrades
- Custom or business services
- Other paid services offered by NeuroHoster
Customers should carefully review the service description, features, pricing, limitations, and subscription period before making a payment.
2. Payments Are Final
After an order has been successfully placed and payment has been received, the customer cannot normally request a refund simply because:
- They changed their mind.
- They no longer need the service.
- They purchased the wrong plan.
- They did not use the service.
- They did not configure the service.
- They did not upload a website.
- Their website was not ready.
- They purchased the service accidentally.
- They found another hosting provider.
- They no longer require hosting.
- They did not understand the service limitations.
- They forgot to cancel before renewal.
- They were unable to use the service because of their own device, internet connection, software, or configuration.
- They did not use all resources included in their plan.
Unused time, unused resources, or unused features do not create an automatic right to a refund.
3. Subscription Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation of their NeuroHoster service.
However, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund.
Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement:
- Cancellation stops future service renewal where applicable.
- The existing paid subscription remains non-refundable.
- The service may continue until the end of the paid period.
- No refund will normally be issued for unused days or months.
Customers are responsible for cancelling their services before the next billing or renewal date if they do not wish to continue.
4. Renewal Payments
Renewal payments are also generally non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for monitoring their subscription and renewal dates.
If a customer forgets to cancel a service before the renewal date and the subscription is renewed, the renewal payment will generally not be refunded.
Customers should cancel automatic renewal before the renewal date if they do not want the service to renew.
5. Monthly, Quarterly, 6-Month and Annual Plans
The no-refund policy applies regardless of subscription duration.
This includes:
- Monthly plans
- 3-month plans
- 6-month plans
- 12-month plans
- Multi-year plans
- Custom subscription periods
For example, if a customer purchases a 12-month plan and cancels after three months, the remaining nine months are generally not refundable.
6. Promotional and Discounted Plans
Payments made under promotional offers, special discounts, coupons, introductory pricing, limited-time offers, or special campaigns are generally non-refundable.
Promotional pricing may have additional conditions.
Unless specifically stated in writing, a promotional price does not create any additional refund entitlement.
7. Free Trials
If NeuroHoster offers a free trial for a particular service, customers should evaluate the service during the trial period.
After a customer converts to a paid service, the payment is generally non-refundable.
Customers should review the service carefully before upgrading or purchasing a paid plan.
8. Setup Fees
Any applicable setup, configuration, installation, migration, onboarding, or activation fee is generally non-refundable once the applicable work has started or the service has been activated.
This may include:
- Hosting setup
- WordPress installation
- Website migration
- DNS configuration
- Account configuration
- Application deployment
- Website setup
- Technical onboarding
- Custom configuration
9. Website Development and Application Development
Payments for website development, application development, customization, design, programming, maintenance, or other professional services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.
This includes payments made as:
- Advance payments
- Deposits
- Project payments
- Milestone payments
- Development fees
- Design fees
- Setup charges
Once resources have been allocated or work has begun, the applicable payment will generally not be refundable.
10. Domain Registration
Domain registration, transfer, renewal, and related domain charges are generally non-refundable after the domain transaction has been successfully processed.
Domain services may be provided through third-party registrars or registries, whose rules may also apply.
Customers should verify the domain name carefully before submitting payment.
NeuroHoster is not responsible for refunds that are unavailable from a third-party domain registrar or registry.
11. Service Downtime
Temporary service interruption or downtime does not automatically qualify the customer for a refund.
Hosting services may occasionally experience interruptions because of:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Emergency maintenance
- Hardware problems
- Software issues
- Network problems
- Data-center incidents
- Third-party infrastructure
- Internet service interruptions
- Security incidents
- DDoS attacks
- Force majeure events
NeuroHoster will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services where applicable.
Service interruptions do not automatically create a refund entitlement.
12. Third-Party Services
Some NeuroHoster services may depend on third-party infrastructure, providers, registrars, payment processors, APIs, software, networks, or other external services.
A failure or interruption caused by a third-party provider does not automatically qualify for a refund.
NeuroHoster may work with the applicable provider to resolve the issue where reasonably possible.
13. Customer Configuration Issues
Refunds will generally not be provided where the customer’s inability to use the service results from:
- Incorrect DNS settings
- Incorrect website configuration
- Incorrect WordPress configuration
- Incorrect application configuration
- Incorrect credentials
- Customer-installed software
- Customer-created code
- Unsupported plugins
- Unsupported themes
- Malware introduced by the customer
- Incorrect domain configuration
- Customer-side internet problems
- Device problems
- Browser problems
- Failure to follow technical instructions
NeuroHoster support may assist with eligible technical issues according to the applicable service level.
14. Website Migration
Migration services are generally non-refundable once migration work has started.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have valid backups before requesting migration.
NeuroHoster does not guarantee that every third-party hosting environment, website configuration, plugin, application, database, or custom code can be migrated without compatibility issues.
15. Duplicate Payments
If a customer accidentally pays the same invoice more than once, the customer should contact NeuroHoster support as soon as possible.
NeuroHoster may investigate the duplicate transaction.
Where appropriate, NeuroHoster may:
- Apply the additional amount as an account credit; or
- Process a refund of the verified duplicate payment.
Any refund may be subject to payment-provider processing requirements.
This is an exception to the general no-refund policy and does not apply to ordinary cancellation requests.
16. Failed Transactions
If a payment fails and no money is successfully received by NeuroHoster, no refund is normally applicable.
If money has been deducted from the customer’s bank account but the payment was not successfully credited to the NeuroHoster account, the customer should provide the payment transaction/reference number.
NeuroHoster may investigate the transaction with the relevant payment processor.
If the transaction is confirmed as failed but the amount was actually captured, the amount may be handled according to the payment processor’s settlement and reversal procedures.
17. Payment Gateway Reversals
If a payment gateway, bank, card issuer, or payment provider reverses a transaction, NeuroHoster may review the transaction.
Where the payment has not been successfully settled to NeuroHoster, the customer may need to contact the applicable payment provider or bank.
18. Chargebacks
Customers should contact NeuroHoster support before initiating a chargeback for a billing or service dispute.
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Service suspension
- Account restrictions
- Investigation
- Outstanding balance recovery
- Termination of services
Where a chargeback is initiated, NeuroHoster may provide transaction information, invoices, service records, communications, and other relevant information to the payment processor or financial institution as part of the dispute process.
Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Fraudulent Transactions
NeuroHoster reserves the right to investigate transactions suspected of being fraudulent, unauthorized, or abusive.
Where permitted by law, NeuroHoster may:
- Cancel an order
- Suspend an account
- Terminate services
- Require additional verification
- Refuse future transactions
- Report suspicious transactions to relevant payment providers or authorities
If a transaction is cancelled before service activation, NeuroHoster may reverse the transaction where appropriate and technically possible.
20. Account Termination Due to Violation
If an account or service is suspended or terminated because the customer violates NeuroHoster’s Terms of Service, acceptable-use requirements, security rules, or other applicable policies, the customer will generally not be entitled to a refund for the remaining prepaid period.
Examples may include:
- Abuse of hosting resources
- Fraud
- Malware distribution
- Phishing
- Unauthorized access
- Illegal activities
- Copyright violations
- Spam
- Abuse of network resources
- Attempted attacks against systems
- Circumvention of security controls
- Other prohibited activities
Any action will be subject to applicable law and the relevant service terms.
21. Account Suspension for Non-Payment
Failure to pay an invoice may result in service suspension or termination.
Suspension or termination caused by non-payment does not create a right to a refund for previously paid amounts.
Customers remain responsible for legitimate outstanding balances.
22. Service Upgrade Payments
Payments made for service upgrades are generally non-refundable.
If a customer upgrades to a higher plan and later decides to return to a lower plan, the difference will generally not be refunded.
Downgrades may be applied at the next eligible billing period where available.
23. Service Downgrade
Customers may request to downgrade an eligible service.
A downgrade does not automatically create a refund for the difference between plans.
The downgrade may take effect at the next billing period or another date determined by NeuroHoster.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their website and resource usage comply with the limits of the new plan.
24. Account Credits
At NeuroHoster’s discretion, an amount may be provided as an account credit instead of a monetary refund.
Account credits:
- May only be used toward eligible NeuroHoster services.
- May not be transferable.
- May not be exchanged for cash unless required by applicable law.
- May be subject to an expiration date or other conditions.
Issuing an account credit in one situation does not create an obligation to issue credits in future cases.
25. Exceptional Refunds
Although NeuroHoster operates under a general no-refund policy, NeuroHoster may, at its discretion and where appropriate, consider exceptional situations such as:
- Verified duplicate payment
- Payment processing error
- Payment collected after a confirmed service cancellation
- Technical billing error caused by NeuroHoster
- Other circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law
Any exceptional refund is considered on a case-by-case basis.
An exceptional refund does not modify the general no-refund policy or establish an automatic entitlement to refunds in similar situations.
26. Legal Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude or restrict any consumer rights, statutory rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
Where applicable law requires a refund, replacement, remedy, or other consumer protection, NeuroHoster will comply with the applicable legal requirements.
27. Refund Request Procedure
If you believe your situation qualifies for an exception under this policy or applicable law, contact NeuroHoster support.
Please provide:
- Full name
- Registered email address
- Customer/account ID, if applicable
- Invoice number
- Transaction ID
- Payment date
- Amount paid
- Service purchased
- Reason for the request
- Supporting documentation, if applicable
Incomplete information may delay the review.
28. Refund Review
Refund requests, where applicable, may be reviewed based on:
- Payment records
- Service activation date
- Service usage
- Account history
- Applicable subscription terms
- Promotional conditions
- Payment gateway records
- Technical records
- The reason for the request
- Applicable law
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval.
29. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be processed through the original payment method where technically possible.
The time required for the amount to appear in the customer’s account may depend on:
- Payment gateway
- Bank
- Card issuer
- Payment method
- International payment processing
- Settlement procedures
NeuroHoster is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks or third-party payment processors.
30. Refund Amount
Where a refund is legally or exceptionally approved, the refundable amount may be limited to the amount actually received by NeuroHoster for the applicable transaction.
Third-party fees, taxes, processing charges, domain charges, transaction fees, or other non-refundable costs may be excluded where legally permitted.
31. No Refund for Unused Services
Customers are not generally entitled to a refund because they:
- Did not use their hosting account.
- Did not upload a website.
- Did not receive visitors.
- Did not use available storage.
- Did not use available bandwidth.
- Did not configure WordPress.
- Did not use included features.
- Did not use technical support.
The availability of a service is different from the customer’s actual usage of that service.
32. Data Backup Responsibility
Customers are responsible for maintaining independent backups of their websites, databases, emails, applications, and other important information.
Cancellation, suspension, termination, or expiry of a service may result in the eventual deletion of associated data in accordance with NeuroHoster’s applicable retention practices.
A refund request does not guarantee data recovery.
33. Cancellation Does Not Guarantee Data Retention
Once a service is cancelled, suspended, or terminated, NeuroHoster may retain or delete customer data according to its applicable policies and operational requirements.
Customers should download or migrate their data before the service expires or is terminated.
34. Changes to This Refund Policy
NeuroHoster may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Changes may be made because of:
- Changes in services
- Changes in business practices
- Changes in payment providers
- Changes in applicable law
- Changes in consumer protection requirements
- Security requirements
- Operational requirements
The latest version will be published on the NeuroHoster website with an updated effective or revision date.
35. Governing Law

Any dispute relating to refunds, payments, cancellations, or services shall be handled in accordance with the dispute-resolution and jurisdiction provisions contained in NeuroHoster’s Terms of Service or applicable agreement, subject to mandatory rights under applicable law.
